Barkey again… I was wondering how Momma knew Barkey was a hoot but then I remembered that she saw him at Chuck E Cheese the other night. Which reminded me to post about it!

We met Daddy and Sandra at CEC last Saturday. It was CRAZY crowded!!! CRAZY! This was GG’s birthday party since Daddy has been sick since her birthday. Barkey had been kicked out because Crystal was having a girl night at their house. So he followed us from Church to CEC. By the time we got to CEC he had completely changed clothes in his car!!!!!!!! No kidding! Shirt, shorts!, EVEN SOCKS!!!!! Can you believe that!? What a goober! He even pulled up beside us a few times. I have no idea how he did it. He says he does it all the time… he is apparently good at it. LOL! So… Momma got in on that conversation.

I think we get along so well because we are both easily distracted and sing a song about everything. LOL! EVERY SINGLE THING I do or say.. I can sing a song to it. He does the same thing. Even some songs that I sing or a saying I quote that other people wont get.. he gets it.

Anyway… he is in charge of the Rock House.. that is his ministry. Me and Aimee are his helpers. We bring the drama! :) I mostly keep him on schedule! HA! All you need is one conversation with Barkey and you will wish I was standing there to distract him and shooo him to the next project. haha.

We had fun at CEC. He got to play with the kids. They all love him because he is like a big kid. Literally. haha. Ben calls him Bocky. LMBO! There was one baby there that looked like Frankenstein… it was mostly the hair cut. It was really bad. But he kept staring and doing a Frankenstein voice. It was too funny.

Here is an email exchange between us to give you a little glimpse. We were talking about the website…

Thanks for all you do.  I really appreciate it.  You Rock Girlfriend!!! (2 snaps in a Z formation)

PiSs (Sorry I meant P.S.)  [I guess my turrets kicked in],
I have had the week from you know where…H-E-double-hockey-sticks.
My reply…
Barkey……. you stinkin ReRe.
I have all that. No website limits. It costs nothing for me to host. Derrrrrrr.
His reply…
OK I’m a Bo-tard.  I just don’t know how these things work.  So if that is the case, I will call them either tomorrow (if I don’t work all day) or definitely Saturday.  But I will call you first and do a conference call (formerly know as a 3-way call, but I thought that sounded too dirty…naughty little pet[from Tommy Boy]).  OK we will set this up ASAP so that we can have next week’s videos and pix uploaded to that.
Tanks and trains.

Subject change… a couple in our Small Group… Jason and Amy. We are just now getting to know them really good. I baby sat their 2 little kids Tuesday.  Caetie had a pic of their baby on her blog recently. (oddly enough, I linked to it and Barkey is in the pic) Anyway.. Jason gave me this box stuff from his Mom. It is butter bean soup. OH MY GOODNESS. I just finished my second bowl! It is sooooooooooo good! WOW! I need to find my some more butter beans! It is like eating white beans.. that warm wholesome good southern food taste only it is more soupy. It is soooooooo good.

You cook the butter beans in the crockpot all day… like white beans.. only with NO seasoning! No ham or anything. When the beans are soft… you add 1 stick of butter (per lb of beans) and a 8oz tomato sauce. Then you add salt, pepper, chili powder, and a little cayenne! WOW! It is sooooooooo good. It thickens a little. It is EXCELLENT!

Speaking of Jason and Amy. She works from home.. but her co-worker.. who works in the office and not from home… is going on vacation. So Amy has to work for her that week. I am watching her 3 kids. I have to be at her house at 6:30am. Whew! But it is good money that I really want… my anniversary is that week and Erika is coming. Can we say BUSY!? Ugh!

And finally.. I think.. haha… I don’t know if I have done anything else on my 101 list. I think I have.. I will scan through and see later. Later!

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! I know something. UGH! Remember back in MAY when I registered the kids for School in Mt Juliet. Well… they tested how many weeks ago?? We have been waiting on the books how long? I am soooooooo mad. They sent us a letter on wrinkled paper.. hand written and said we are late on our September payment! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Late for WHAT!? I haven’t gotten anything. I think if Danny is too sick to work tomorrow that we might just make a little trip to see Mr George McDowell! I am VERY UPSET! Insane!

Testing complete.

To be very basic with their levels… the entire education process is from book 1001 to 1144. So basically when you complete 144 books in each subject you graduate high school. There is a guesstimate on public school grade levels but it isn’t perfectly accurate. This method of schooling isn’t based on school level. It is based on education and completing 12 books in a year.

So we will leave it at this.

Caetie’s books will be:
1085-1096 for Spelling/Words
1038-/1049 for Math
1085-1096 for Science/Social Studies
1049-1060 for English

Toby’s books will be:
1037-1048 for Spelling/Words
1020-1031 for Math
1001-1012 for Science
1016-1027 for English

Allie’s books will be:
1013-1024 for Spelling/Words
1014-1025 for Math
1001-1012 for Science
1002-1013 for English

Silas’ books will be:
1013-1024 for Spelling/Words
1018-1029 for Math
1001-1012 for Science
1002-1013 for English

If you will notice Allie, Silas and Toby will be in the same Science books. I did that on purpose. Toby can always retest to see if he can move up. He could have made it up several several books but I kept him back. He needs to go over it structured with the others. If he gets it and moves along quickly then he can retest next year and skip several books. But I think this is best for now.

*big sigh* Bring on the books! We are excited!

They can tutor… take band class… lots of things.. for only $50 per class for the school year. Caetie needs a Math tutor. I would like to get Caetie and Toby into an instrument as well.

I am so mad.

I am so fed up with idiot Dr’s.

Moving on..

I had my MRI today. It went well. I couldn’t relax but I was able to be still. It took about 35 minutes. Thankfully it was open. I don’t like the closed MRIs. EEK! I need to call my Dr and make an appointment to see the results. I don’t know their name or practice. ha! I need to get it from Danny but I totally haven’t wanted to talk or ask.

From taking too much blood thinner I have several bruises. One big one on my stomach and 2 on my arm. *shrugs* I didn’t take my dose last night because I KNOW it was too thin. I tried to get my INR today so I could figure out what to do but.. well… let’s just say… I am MAD! Stupid people. Stupid stupid stupid.

Anywho….We cleaned the Rock House yesterday. That went really well. I am looking forward to the changes and stuff. If anyone has an old couch they want to get rid of.. CALL ME! We need a few.

Well… we have good progress in school. We started Thursday with Caetie, Toby, and Silas. Friday was Caetie and Allie. We should have started some more tests today but I haven’t done it yet. I have been gone all morning and then we went to eat. Danny is at work tonight so after they get up from nap we will do some more. The boys should finish the tests today. Allie too… if she isn’t to pokey. It just takes so long because it is on the computer and my computer is being really slow. If I had 4 computers lined up that would be great! LOL!! I will be glad when we get to the book phase!

I am not sure what Caetie has left to do. I will have to check her results. Her Science score messed up and it lost the testing she had done. So.. I don’t know.

So far.. the worst things are Caetie’s Math.. which we already know. That’s okay though. Isn’t that what school is for? And Allie’s wandering mind. That girl. Whew.

Danny is working this week monday through thursday night from 4:30 to 2:30am. I think I like this. LOL! The overtime is good! As long as Danny doesn’t miss a day. *grrr thinking about it*

Welp… I am EXHAUSTED! And I am hurting! AND I am MAD MAD MAD. Stupid people. Arg! Anyway… later yall.

Testing so far….

So far today Caetie is at 3rd grade math. :P   She still has some tests to do though. We knew she would be behind in Math. That is her worst subject. It just doesn’t click with her.

Silas has 2 books to do in 1st grade Math and then he can start 2nd grade Math.

This is TOO cool. It keeps kids from having to go over stuff they already know. I love this so far! I am excited!!!

UPDATE: Caetie made it to 4th grade Math with only 2 books in 3rd grade that need to be reviewed. She is having a meltdown because she hates math and has decided to give that subject and break and move on to another subject.

They are tested in 4 areas… Math, English, Word Building, Science/Social Studies

*sigh*

UPDATE 2:

Caetie- 4th Math, 5th English, 6th Social Studies/Science, 8th Word Building. We are still testing though… it could move up… lots of reading. Tomorrow we’ll start again.

Toby- 2nd Math

Silas- Only 2 books in 1st grade and he can start 2nd Math.

Allie- no tests yet.

My kids start school tomorrow. Sorta… tomorrow is testing day.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the A.C.E. program. They go at their own pace and at different levels. No specific grade. I love this! I wish I had this when I was a kid.

They will be excited to know tomorrow is the big day! After they are placed in each subject then we will get the books! Sweet!!
